The California Arts Council awarded ARTSCCC a grant to support a Poetry Series Program (PSP) for system-engaged youth at John A. Davis Juvenile Hall. An artist team leads monthly workshops.
ARTSCCC received a California Humanities grant for the Danza de los Diablos de Santiago Juxtlahuaca, Oaxaca (Dance of the Devils of Santiago Juxtlahuaca, Oaxaca) project documenting the indigenous group’s history and supporting a community participatory performance during a July 4th parade in downtown Martinez.
East Bay Community Foundation awarded ARTSCCC a grant for the Cultural Corridor Project consisting of a public artwork, community celebration, and exhibition that connected the Latinx communities of Richmond and Concord in Contra Costa County.
